In the same week, may 2002, will be open two important artistic events that sign a new fervid period for the modem art in Castellammare di Stabia in the continuing of the splendid roman ancientness brightness that live in it. The first event is represented by the exhibition of Annamaria Russo's works that do relive in modem way the peculiar roman frescoes of the ancient Stabiae; the second one is realized by the Richard Haas' conference, American painter of public works "trompe l'oeil" who will propose the pictorial introduction in the modem town of pictures from Varano site, that goes on through Napoli gulf, with the Vesuvio. This confluence of artistic activities, creates a new background in the "Arte Moderna per Stabiae Antica" program.
