The contents over the imagines is quite clear, all seems to converge in a main thematic hinged on the man: the man and his habitat, the man and his doubts and hopes, but in particular the man who lives day by day his reality, made by little gladness, but also by a lot of frustrations and pains. This is the intimate dimension of the shown painting, pathetic absorbed faces, furrowed, maybe, more by the age then by the pain and the work.
